New Branding for Jeannie Mongrain
Jeannie Mongrain is a well known Mortgage Broker in Carleton Place for Dominion Lending Centres. She came to me in the summer of 2014 asking if I could help her develop her brand. She really liked the idea of utilizing the “Jeannie” of her name and wanted a whimsical logo and branding to go along with it.
I came up with some different design concepts using a magical Genie bottle, both a traditional Aladdin’s lamp and one that was similar to the “I dream of Jeannie” tv show. It was important to use the Dominion Lending Centres branding colours and incorporate their logo within her branding. Using a script font I was able to make it appear like Jeannie’s name was coming from the lamp like a wish granted. Which really appealed to her. She was very happy with the final design. I went on to design her website banner, social media banners, business card and billboard.
